Not only is it the day before I leave for to head to Panama City Beach for spring break, but it is also the final weeks of my last semester as a college student, so as you can imagine I have ZERO motivation to do just about anything. That being said, I still managed to read the pages for tomorrow (yey me!) and tried to learn as much as my brain (which is mush right now) would allow me to.
This chapter of the Dreamweaver book, talked about headings, images, hyperlinks, and fonts. It showed me how to select which heading you would like in Dreamweaver and I also learned that you can preview your site in different browsers to see how they will look before you publish your site. I thought this feature was pretty nifty because some of my font and image choices from the first assignment, only work correctly when you view the site in Safari. Another thing I learned was how to link to an email address. I think this would have been a good thing to do on my personal webpage and I may go back and do that eventually. The last thing that I gathered from this chapter was the to not reszie your image in Dreamweaver because the resolution won't turn out as great.
All of these things will be very important to keep in mind while I'm doing my client project. I have some ideas of what I'd like to do and this information will be very helpful when I start implementing those ideas for my client.
