Lessons 6 and 7, Client Image Example

Lessons 6 and 7 of Osborne are centered around advanced layout features one can achieve and incorporate into their site using Dreamweaver.

Chapter 6: This chapter talks about many important topics, including creating columns, list-based navigation bars, how to change the column size and shape and how to create most sophisticated navigation bars. For my client website, I would like to try and incorporate a horizontal navigation bar, so I think this chapter will be especially useful.

Chapter 7: This chapter mostly talked about the different ways yo can work with tables on your website. Specifically, they talked about how to create and modify tables, how to style them in both HTML and CSS, and how to import and sort table data. For my client website, I'm not sure if I will have any use for a table, but one place where it may be useful is displaying a breakdown of pricing for the different kinds of jewelry. I will need to think that through a little more.

Also, to give everyone a sense of what I will be working with for my client project, I wanted to show the piece of jewelry my friend made (which I am buying because it's just too damn cute). :)
