Those of you who were in class for the draft review might remember my frequent comments about page layout and clean coding. Those of you who saw my draft might remember how it lacked a clear audience. I figured out how to manage both of them.
Reactive Design and Clean Coding
While I was trying to figure out what to do about my audience and purpose problem, I noticed that the page wouldn't display properly on my phone. So, to keep myself busy, I started working on making my page usable in a variety of browser window sizes. As I was refining the visual design, I started noticing how the same thing may have to be restated in a number of ways so that one of them could be read by a given browser.
So, I rewrote my webpage with all of you as my target audience, and demonstration of those principles as my purpose. As it says on the page, I have thoroughly commented the code, and I hope that it can benefit someone (beyond myself).
That said, I didn't finish it until five minutes before midnight, so there are a few (minor) typos in it. As soon as I can find both the time and the energy again (hopefully over break?), I'll go back and really tighten it up.
EDIT: I did actually forget a couple of significant things related to img tags that I meant to include. I'll add those when I clean up everything else.
