Osborne's Chapter Nine focused on the ways to add Flash, video and sound content to a website. Beneath the title, it states that "people are expecting more dynamic content online," although I'm not sure this is entirely true.
If your site is designed well enough, you won't necessarily need the extra flashy additions to make it "better", even if adding video or sound makes the site more interesting. Although these things are beneficial in some respects, they can also distract the viewer from the real purpose and content if they are used in the incorrect way.
In reference to my client website, I was thinking about adding a slideshow to my homepage, showing some of Jamie's jewelry photos. Since Flash allows you to create a slideshow, I will probably use that section of Chapter 9 in the near future.
