Okay, keep in mind this is a very very rough draft. If you read the little speech bubbles in the third screen you'll get a better idea of what I'm going for. Any feedback on the idea would be great, and if you have any questions send 'em my way.

DeleteI think it's adorable! Although, maybe make the homepage have some sort of menu as well? I was a bit confused on how to navigate that one. Is that other speech bubble a menu?
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam! And yes, I agree, the homepage will have a type of menu (like the last screen shot) and I need to play around with the speech bubbles to determine when to incorporate the actual homepage..if that makes sense.
DeleteI love this idea; how cute! :) Who doesn't love a talking dog? I'm curious to see the color scheme you end up choosing for Charlie's "real" pages...once you get past his adorable splash!
ReplyDeleteI would suggest making sure you've got some hover effects on the paws so visitors know they should click it...even a tag on the paw that says 'next' when you hover on it would be helpful. Just to make sure it's user-friendly :) And have you considered possibly having a by-pass button on the bottom to go straight into the website? In case someone has already visited and knows the spiel, or gets confused with the paws and just wants to get into the site. Just a thought!
I can't wait to see the pictures you get of Charlie - this website looks like adorable waiting to happen!
