Lesson 6 & 7!

I got lucky with this blog post. After learning that I wasn't supposed to post about lesson 10 but instead 6 & 7 I was able to have the class explain advanced page layout (lesson 6) and working with tables (lesson 7).

Like most class discussions complicated term were broken down into first, what they mean and second, what they do. An important concept we talked about was floating. This is a useful thing to know when it comes to the alignment of the website being created. The majority of chapter 6 breaks down tricks to organizing information and images on a website.

Lesson 7 also discussed a tool used for organization of a page layout... tables. This lesson especially interested me because when working with hand coding I used tables to my advantage when I wanted certain aspects to align. It continues on about how to modify tables, once again, to use in the overall layout and organization of a creators (me) site.
