HTML and CSS

I found the two lessons to be amazingly helpful.  Until reading them, I had really thought that CSS and HTML was the same thing. For me they were computer languages that were as foreign as French or German.

I can relate to what Craig Cook says in his article, “How to Grok Web Standards”. I have experience in the Graphic Arts and the idea of transferring my ideas into code is a little daunting. I feel like I only have the most simple of grasp on code, and have no idea of what it is truly capable of.

I do look forward to getting my hands on a computer and putting some of these practices into use, but at the same time I am reluctant, because I fear that my lack of knowledge will hold my creativeness back. Though, everyday I do feel that I am moving in the right direction.
