Design

Website Architecture 101 by Mr.Limeback talks about the levels found within a website. Level one of the design of a website is the homepage and the nav bar.  The second level are the other pages that the homepage and the nav bar brings you to. The most important part to take out from Limeback's article could be how we our web pages. It seems that he recommend for structure that we keep an even flow with the structure of the pages across all levels.

The second article WebArchitecture from 50,000 Feet is another article about the architecture behind websites. Unlike Limeback this article brakes down the architecture of a website to multiple different categories and further brakes them down to even more subgroups. In the first division is about goals for websites. The second division is about the HTTP Space. The third and fourth subgroup is the content and data formats. Pretty much this article is a lengthy and could be made more enjoyable. ( http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/Architecture.html )

The number one aspect that stood out to me is the interface design. From my personal experience interface design is a very important. If something is poorly set up then users will not return. The best example could be seen in how users go onto use different web browsers. Rest of the article that stood out to me is about planing out how you going to design the website keep it simple. By keeping things simple it can make the site elegant but also user friendly.
