Hooray for Color!

I really enjoyed the piece about the meanings of color. It presented me with a lot of information that I was not aware of. It also points out that different colors have difference significance to different cultures and have different meanings to different people.

This comes in really handy when designing websites because you want to play to your audience and you want to find a color that will have a significant and positive meaning for them.

The article on color theory also presents an interesting look at how we combine colors and what these combinations mean. Again, this is really important to consider when you are designing a website because color is the first thing that users are going to notice when visiting. Under-stimulation or over-stimulation could lead to users leaving your website.
