WiCS Client Site Link!

Here's the link to the client page I'm working on:
hu.mtu.edu/~bcbettin/wics

The internal links don't have content yet, but they should by tomorrow (that's what I'm working on now!)
:)

    1. Also, the structure works well too, like I said in class, maybe just a little bit more alignment for some of the content. :)

  2. I love the whole feel. The banner up top with the logo is really nice and draws in interest. The contrast between the green of the banner and the background color to the links below is great. . The main font and the font on the related links area could be larger. Also, the bonsai tree logo could be bigger and maybe placed somewhere else.

  3. love the header & the color.

I feel that the recommend links are hard to read on the big screen.

  4. I love the color scheme and the header. The links are all evenly spaced as well. Good font choice.

I would get rid of the underlines under the text under "related links".

  5. The header is really cool. The logo is really sweet as well. I really love the colors you've used. The links on the left are a little hard to read so maybe spacing them out a bit might be helpful.

  6. Good job integrating a funky font that is still readable :) I also really like the color combination. Maybe put some spaces in between in related links - they look a little squished.

  7. Love the colors! They provide enough contrast to make everything very readable and separate, but yet they work together well.

One thing to possibly work on is making the body text a little bit bigger. It's a bit hard to read from a distance. This is small, but I think it might be beneficial!

  8. I really like the color screen, and the design in the header is really cool and really connects to the topic of the website. One area for development I would consider would be to make sure that your navigation bar is centered above your content. Also the text under the WICS logo is hard to read, and maybe its a little small.

  9. You are great at coding. The Header is legit. It represens computers. HAving a video on your home page is legit! Great choice of colors.

The only thing, is that I feel like you are yelling at me by the all capital links. Overall this is a great site. Great Job!

  10. Strenghts: Cool logo and design on the top! I also really like the nav bar, good color choices and fonts.

Things to work on: Maybe reposition the "related links" box because it's the first thing I look at, whereas I think that the "welcome" content should be the first thing the audience sees...Maybe switch the two?

  11. I really like the header!!!!!

The colors you chose really complement each other to make a very cohesive site.

I agree with the comments about the "Related Links" grey box and make it level with the other content on the homepage.

  12. The color combination and design makes the page really interesting to look at. The menu sizes into a different format when the window is smaller. The related link look almost like an advertisement due to its position.

  13. Strengths:
    - Header is amazing
    - Great color combinations

    Areas of Development:
    - Footer centered
    - I'm guessing it is just my laptop at this point but 'Who We Are' and 'Member Links' have differences to the other pages. Such as the logo is larger and the headers/titles to each paragraph move as well. I'm guessing it is because of the logo becoming larger. This could just be my laptop messing up.

  14. That is an amazing header. I love the use of color and related to computers. The grey box makes the rest of the layout look off center.

  15. Awesome header with very good overall alignment. The only thing I could suggest to improve the alignment is to shift the logo off of the edge of the view-space by a few pixels.
