2 pages down 3 to go...

So, first off- this took WAY too long, and I'm pretty sure I spent over three hours trying to figure out how to code hover's and mouseovers...and I was making absolutely no sense to the computer. BUT, after 4392348392 hours, I have FINALLY figured out how to add some magic to my page.

Here is my draft...only 3...more...pages.....

CHARLIE KANG'S WEBSITE (draft)

  1. Your navigation is very creative. I also like the color changes. The white space is very overwhelming in the rest of the site. Maybe some sort of frame to contain everything?

  2. Everything about the site is great. The overall theme fits great for it being a website for a dog. The links on the side are awesome because they change color and they don't look like normal links.

There is a lot of white space though so maybe you could change the background so that there is not so much white space.

  3. Very creative. I enjoy the amount of effort and attention to detail that you put into everything!

I am very curious to see how the rest of the site will turn out!
Great job overall. Maybe center the title but awesome!!

  4. Strengths: I love the nav bar! Also, the focus of the site is very clear based on the images and the style that you use.

Work on: Consider a little more color, maybe just a very light or neutral background color to spice things up a bit. That's just my opinion though!

  5. Style is on point - love the rollover features!

    Like the picture outline

A little confused about the "your new best friend"
is that dog up for adoption? or just a good friend? or is some other dog going to be my new best friend?

  6. Your site is beyond cute, and I love how your buttons become colored when you hover over them. I would be cautious about a fully white background, because it is a little intense to look at.

  8. I love your navigation bar. I image in the middle needs to be adjusted on the home page.

  9. This is an absolutely adorable website. The design is great and I LOVE your navigation bar. The picture of the dog is so cute and I like how you incorporated the colors in the navigation bar to add some color to the site. The one thing I noticed was on my screen the dog picture went to the bottom of the page and wasn't right next to the navigation bar.

  10. The hover on the links is very entertaining and friendly. There is a lot of white space on the right hand side in some browsers.

  11. Strengths: User friendly, I love the icons on the side and the picture! (cute dog!) It's very simple and I love the style.

Suggestions: Just look at the positioning of the picture. and those links.

  12. Strengths: I like how the nav icons add color on rollover.

Suggestion: Add "www." to the beginning of your links to get to a valid page.

  13. The style illustrates the purpose very well. I would change the duty image. And the "your best friend" is misleading, the purpose is a bit unclear.

  14. Strengths:
    - Very fun heading, eye catching

    Area of Development:
    - 'About' page shifts differently from rest of pages
    - Body font almost seems too... boring?

  15. I want to be friends with Charlie!! I commend you for spending time on the hover-over-the-links-and-they-change-color feature!!!

As Maddy and Megan were talking, it would be good to have some kind of purpose definition of the site.
