Thanks for the earlier feedback, now I'm testing out the two lines of icons.
I'm not sure I want to incorporate sounds and animation to my site, definitely some interactivity but I feel Lesson 9 makes it sound like it is a general expectation that you have animation, sound and video.
These are great ways to make a page more engaging, but I dont thinks they are absolutely necessary. As long it is a fitting response, fits into your design concept, and supports the purpose of the site then it if find, but it should just be there because it is an "expectation". I think a design can be dynamic without animation or sound-effects.

This looks awesome! I like the light feel that the colors give. I would consider putting boxes or something around the nav bar links, just to make it clear that they are links.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! The colors, the structure and layout, it's got all of the content easily displayed, muy bien! The only thing that just hurts my brain a little is the cluster of icons at the bottom, it's a great idea to use and display your skills, maybe just leave out a few for the initial page?
