Very interesting design and theme! The only thing is that it's not clear that this is a portfolio...I'm not sure what the actual purpose is just from looking at it. I think just making that more explicit by putting portfolio or your name somewhere relatively prominent might be helpful.
super awesome design, I love the concept, it fits perfectly! As suggested in class, adding a design element on the other side of the navigation buttons would balance it out.
