  1. That thicker font is harder to read ecept in the logo; there i can read it. I like the navigation but why those colors? I like the black margins. The font may be a little small.

  2. Great job with integrating the photos, videos and quotes. You added a lot of user interactive features which makes the site more interesting. The only thing that I think could be developed is changing the font on the quotes because it's a little hard to read. Great job though. It's very interactive.

  3. Pretty much you have several way cool ideas, and have implemented them! WAY COOL! Your heading font is a little jazzy but it is hard to read - at least on the mini laptop.

  4. Strengths:
    - Very clear and concise, easy to navigate
    - Quote changing feature is amazing

    Area for Development:
    - Font seems really close on my screen
    - Alignment to the page on 'Courses' and 'Media' are different

  5. The layout and structure looks great, and I love that you have the different quotes at the top of the page, that is so so cool! I just wish I could read them a little bit easier :) which leads to my suggestion, I would try working with a different typeface, the one you are using is a bit difficult to read. Other than that the colors look good, I would think about maybe making the background right behind the photo slide a dark grey...the pics will stand out a lot better! But the slideshow and all of the pages and changing quotes is awesome!

  6. I really like the color scheme of the nav bar, its very eye catching. I also really like the quote changing feature, that's really amazing. The area of development that I would consider would be careful of a white background, its a little intense when looking at it for a length of time.

  7. I like the amount of interactivity! Cool pictures makes it easy on the eyes.
Definitely Consistency makes it pretty sweet.
The quote at the upper right is cool.

The font is a little hard to read. The title bar links are almost undistuighable.
Maybe try and make it a little bigger. Good job overall!

  8. PROS:
-complex content (random quote script - that's pretty rad)
    -consistency (fonts, colors, images)

    CONS:
-the black on the sides makes the transition to the middle a little difficult

  9. Strengths: I really like the slideshow and the rotating quotes, that's a really cool idea. The font in the logo is awesome, I feel like it fits the topic really well.

Things to work on: Maybe change the font of the body (or where there's more content to read) because it is rather hard to read.

  10. The colors on the page are really inviting. It's difficult to read the text in the upper right hand corner and on the headers, perhaps just a font size larger.

  11. I really love all of the interactive features. The quote changing feature is real cool a I love the color scheme. It's very jazzy. The font can be a little hard to read in the headers because the text is so thick.

  12. I like the black background but text on a white box. I might suggest changing the font, however, because it is difficult to read. Maybe add some more jazzy colors - bright reads and oranges.

  13. Hey Alex,

I really like the photos and videos you've added into the site! One thing for me is that the fonts of the quotes on top (cool idea!) as well as the text in the nav bar are a little hard to read when the font size gets smaller.

  14. I like the design elements for the most part. I find on my screen that it is hard to read this line:

I believed in studying just because I knew education was a privilege. It was the discipline of study, to get into the habit of doing something that you don't want to do. - Wynton Marsalis

probably be better to do this in a different font.

  15. Your interactivity is most definitely a strength here! I like the slideshow and quote. The font that you use is a bit challenging to read at times, so you might try playing with it a bit. I agree that the consistency is a plus as well!
