Hello! Here is my working (ehhh. well mostly) draft of my client website. A couple of the pages just say in progress for now, but 4 are fully functional.
Great color scheme and overall feel. It looks very professional and the pictures add a nice touch especially when a user can roll over them and they enlarge. The main font could be a little darker but not black. That's really the only thing I can think of.
I know you were struggling with the color options you were presented with and I think you did a great job choosing more muted and less neon colors - alignment is a little off on the first few paragraphs on your home page - perhaps some padding would do the trick
The pop-up pictures are really nice, and a cool interactive feature. I would consider padding your text a little because it is running right up to the end of the white box.
Wow. This is awesome Travis! The colors, perfect. The layout, perrfect. It looks like the site is designed to a T for the audience of the site. I seriously have, like, no suggestions. Keep it up!
I really like the header. I do like the fact that the pictures get bigger when you scroll over them. The text is a little close to the edges and I think it would look a lot better if it was inward a little more. I also liked Wendy's idea to get rid of your home page so that it wouldn't look like there are so many navigation links.
Man this is a sweet page! I like the pictures and the amount of interactivity. This seems like it is very close to being done. I like the colors and the content.
The only thing would be the hover over pics being a little smaller. Great Job Overall!

ReplyDeleteMaybe make the header throughout the entire site the same size in contrast to the background, it seems a bit off on the subpages.

ReplyDeletePage flows really well and the colors are easy to look at. The contact page has the right column white as opposed to the blue.

- Top header looks a little blurry or pixelated
- Maybe make the user click the photo to enlarge instead of hover
